Expansion Update - The New Entrance Area

The entrance and exit doors will be relocated to the front corner of the store (by Guadalupe).
The awning will be taken apart and stored during construction and will be put back in place when the patio is remodeled.
The construction will start on the Guadalupe end of the building and work toward the east during the coming months.

7/14/08 the patio is cleared of tables in preparation of remodeling the new entrance area	7/15/08 a section of the awning is removed	7/15/08 the area is fenced off for construction and plywood placed over the windows
7/16/08 the awning framework is removed for storage.	7/17/08 the tile is busted up removed	7/17/08 the area is prepared. It's hot work and the crew pretends to snooze.
7/25/08 a drill truck drills holes to insert rebar supports	7/25/08 concrete is poured into the holes	7/28/08 the slab in front of the new entrance area
7/28/08 the eastern edge of the slab...to be continued	7/30/08 C'mon in, we're open! Parking has been a little difficult this week but we should regain some spots along the fence.	8/8/08 overnight the registers were magically moved several feet East and the front windows were removed.
